Kockens renews its classic potato starch with sustainable packaging

Kockens potato starch has long held a natural place in our assortment—and in Swedish kitchens. Now, we have chosen to renew this classic with updated packaging that meets today’s demands for sustainability and functionality.

The previous double packaging has been replaced with a more resource-efficient solution: a sturdy stand-up pouch that is still recycled as paper packaging. This change means less material usage and more thoughtful protection for the contents. The potato starch itself is the same— made from Swedish potatoes, labeled with both the “Från Sverige” and “Crossed Grain” symbols. To ensure easy recognition on store shelves, the packaging retains its visual identity with the classic potato flower.

Kockens potato starch is already available for purchase at most grocery stores and wholesalers.
